Grade Eight Supplies

1 Binder System

• Whether one large zippered binder to hold all subject papers OR a few smaller binders that each hold 2-3, please choose a binder organization system that suits your child best

1 2” binder (requested by Social teacher)

2 Pkgs of index dividers, depending on which system you decide on

4 Report covers with prongs (assorted colors)

1 Lined looseleaf paper (150 sheets)

1 Notebook of graph paper

2 Red pens

4 Blue pens (students need several pens, amounts & color are up to you)

3 12-pack pre-sharpened pencils. (This may seem like a lot, but students never seem to have enough pencils to get through the year. Please help ensure your child has enough pencils to last until June!)

(Alternatively, mechanical pencils with lots of refill lead work well too)

1 Pencil sharpener with a container

4-5 Highlighters (assorted colors)

3 Dry-Erase markers (for Math)

1 Ultra-fine point permanent marker

1 Pkg pencil crayons

1 Scissors

2 White erasers

1 Glue stick 21g

1 12”/30cm clear plastic ruler

1 Scientific calculator 

1 Pencil case (or 2 if you feel that would be helpful for your student)

1 Bible (can be NIV, ESV, NIrV, or NKJV)

1 Box facial tissue *to help the class get through the cold season, this item is invaluable!

1 1" binder **only for students taking Spanish**

This is a huge help in quicker recovery if lost!
